Privacy Policy

MYBC trading as My Business Coach ("MyBC", "we") takes your privacy seriously. This policy sets out what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It applies to everyone who uses this site or buys a ClientLens Report, wherever you are.

What we collect

Your name, email address, business name and website URL. Your IP address and basic usage data when you visit the site. Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment provider — MyBC never receives or stores your card number.

What the audit itself uses

A ClientLens Report is built from publicly available information about the business being audited: its website, search results, public advertising libraries, social profiles, public company records and publicly accessible competitor data. We do not ask for, and never receive, logins or access to your accounts.

How we use it

To produce and deliver your audit, to contact you about it, to take payment, and to improve the service. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not sell your data. Every marketing email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and opting out stops marketing email without affecting a report you have paid for.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the business: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Supabase for data storage, and hosting and analytics providers. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. Data may be stored or processed outside the country you live in.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, your orders and your completed reports for as long as you have an account with us, so you can go back to a report you bought. Ask us to delete your data and we will, other than records we are required to retain for tax or accounting purposes.

Your rights over your data

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email reports@mybusinesscoach.co.nz and we will respond within 30 days. Local privacy law where you live may give you further rights, and nothing in this policy limits them.
